Leslie Brogdon brings a background in nonprofit leadership, communications, storytelling, and child advocacy to her work with Kids and Car Safety.

Throughout her career, Leslie has worked with nonprofit organizations to translate complex issues into clear, compelling stories that move people to action. Her experience spans operations, fundraising, communications, social media strategy, and public education, with a particular strength in helping mission-driven organizations connect important research and advocacy with the families and communities they serve.

Leslie is also a longtime advocate for children and families. Her personal and professional experiences have shaped a deep commitment to making safety information accessible, practical, and impossible to dismiss. At Kids and Car Safety, she helps tell the stories behind the data and bring greater awareness to preventable vehicle-related dangers facing children.

Outside of her work with KACS, Leslie writes about family, resilience, and the complicated realities of caring for the people we love.
