Ed’s extensive industry footprint also includes strategic leadership positions with Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, where he managed technical compliance, directed responses to NHTSA inquiries, and coordinated safety and emissions recalls. His foundational career years were spent as a product and development engineer for Jaguar Cars Inc. and General Motors (Buick Motor Division), focusing on engine management, experimental testing, and long-range product planning. Beyond his corporate roles, Ed has contributed his expertise to the broader traffic safety community, serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) from 2018 to 2023.

Edward holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a design specialization from Northeastern University and an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Michigan. He is an active member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and has represented key safety organizations including the Governors Highway Safety Association, Lifesavers, and Kidz In Motion.
