Bill would protect Good Samaritans

The temperature inside a hot car can rise 20 degrees in 10 minutes, which can be deadly to a child who is locked inside. “A kid’s body temperature rises three to five times faster than an adult’s,” said Amber Rollins, director of KidsAndCars.org, an organization that raises awareness about the dangers of leaving children unattended in cars. “Their bodies can’t regulate the temperature the way an adult’s can. Minutes can be the difference between life and death for a child locked in a hot car.”
