Jared Estes Jr.

March 6, 2003 - June 1, 2007

“JAY-JAY” was the nick-name everyone called my son when he was born in March of 2003.

It was the greatest day of my life!

On the night of June 1, 2007 I received a phone call. I was told to go to the Emergency Room, my son had been run over!

Jay-Jay died right before I made it to the hospital, he was only 4-years-old.

No one was watching him.

He was playing unattended in the driveway of his mother’s house in Stewart, MS while his she was inside visiting friends using drugs and alcohol. When she came outside to leave, she found Jay-Jay lying in the driveway, apparently having been backed over by a vehicle.

No one knows to this day who killed Jay-Jay.

The driver of the vehicle is still unknown and the circumstances surrounding the incident have yet to be determined. The case was labeled a homicide and no charges where brought against his mother.

The pain of missing my son is so hard to take and the only peace I have is knowing that he is in heaven.
