A small number of survivors channel the force of their grief or shock into preventive action - so that no one else has to go through “this” again. Among the most persistent and effective advocates are parents who have lived through the death or disabling injury of a young son or daughter.

BEREAVED PARENTS OF THE USA 
Bereaved Parents of the USA (BP/USA) is a nationwide organization designed to  aid and support bereaved parents and their families who are struggling to survive their grief after the death of a child.  Any bereaved parent, sibling, or grandparent is eligible to become a member of the BP/USA. Members are free to attend monthly meetings of their chapter, or any other chapter, as often and as long as necessary to meet their needs. The BP/USA is non-denominational.  There is no religious creed involved. Members are free, however, to state their beliefs and the role those beliefs have played in their lives.


THE COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS
The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to  assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.

ALIVE ALONE
An organization for educational and charitable purposes, to benefit bereaved parents whose only child or all children are deceased by providing a self-help network and publications to promote communication and healing.

Gift From Within
An international nonprofit organization is dedicated to those who suffer post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), those at risk for PTSD, and those who care for traumatized individuals.  Trauma & educational materials include articles for both those experiencing PTSD and their supporters.

SHARE
SHARE is a not-for-profit nondenominational organization providing support to those whose lives are touched by the tragic death of a baby through early pregnancy loss, stillbirth or newborn death.
